The new 2023 Subaru Outback: some very interesting changes

In the fall of 2019, the new generation of the Subaru Outback was presented for the 2020 model year. At that time, the model was progressing nicely, as it has since its introduction in the mid-90s.

For the 2023 model year, improvements are made, changes that make it even more interesting. Let's take a look at the work that has been done.

Aesthetically

The most striking thing about the 2023 edition is the change in style. Quite simply, the front end has been redesigned to give the model a new identity. The headlights are more cut out, the grille is more massive, the fog lights have been redesigned and the bumper is more imposing. In short, the entire front end has been given a much more emotional look.

The rocker panels have also been redesigned to offer more character and at the rear, there's a new bumper that integrates the parking lights more stylishly. In short, all the changes are welcome.

Onyx

We note the arrival of a new version in 2023, the Onyx. This one is positioned above the Convenience and Tourism variants in the range based on the latter. It features a clean design with black exterior accents, 18-inch gunmetal gray alloy wheels, rear bumper steps, a gray interior with two-tone paint scheme, soft-touch seat fabric, heated rear seats, alloy pedals, and the X-Mode driving world for better off-road skills.

Eyesight

Finally, the Eyesight system has a new generation of safety features. This may vary from one model to another, but the level of safety is raised with more refined elements. This is especially true at the top of the hierarchy with a wide-angle camera that captures more information from the front of the vehicle, making the detection tools more effective.

What's always interesting with this kind of addition is that it eventually migrates to all the models in the family, so it's a welcome addition.

Also, for those who want it, it will be possible to enjoy optional wireless access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps.

As we've just seen, the Subaru Outback takes a step forward worthy of mention in 2023. Come and see it at the dealership and take a test drive; the difference will seduce you.
